PhD candidate recognized by International Confederation of Electroacoustic Music for media-blending artwork “Shadows”
Transdisciplinary composer Deniz Çağlarcan has won the PRIX CIME 2025 International Electroacoustic Music Competition for his media-blending artwork “Shadows.” The award grants him a residency to further his research at a world-class studio. “It shows that my work can communicate on its own, without words, and still reach others,” said Çağlarcan, who will premiere his master’s project at the AlloSphere Research Facility in December.
