Attaqua Ethel Williams Herandien, a South African indigenous historian, social justice activist, and storyteller, spoke about the Southern African Khoi and San people’s long struggle against historical and epistemic silencing, reframing their history. She says academics have largely undervalued these two peoples in their perspectives on South African history.
