Khosrow B. Semnani, an Iranian-American industrialist and philanthropist, will be speaking about corruption in Iran’s oil and gas sector on January 29th at 6:30pm in HSSB 4020.
Semnani has worked as a research scientist at Kennecott Copper Corporation, a plant engineer for Thatcher Chemical Company, and an engineering manager at Sperry Univac. He founded the Semnani Family Foundation with his wife to promote worldwide humanitarian relief. He also started Omid for Iran in support of policies for Iranian environmental and political rights.
