Cal Poly SLO Professor Meredith Sattler will investigate the world and implications of BioSphere 2’s economic system and the art, engineering, and life within it. Sattler’s research focuses on a specific diagram called the "Economic System of B2." It explores how this diagram influenced the way people understood and designed Biosphere 2, a project that aimed to create a self-sustaining environment.
