This one-day event, part of the Feminist Futures series, will combine scholarly and public discussions of the legal and social history and contemporary politics of criminalizing undocumented families. It will explore the underlying gender and racial politics of this policy, examining the impact of family separations of mixed status families in the United States and south of the border. The event will take place on May 3rd from 9:30am-5:30pm in the Loma Pelona Conference Room.
