The displacement of people fleeing from poverty and violence is a global issue, impacting international relations, crime levels, political extremism, and exploitation. Sponsored by the Department of Latin American & Iberian Studies, this conference will bring together undergraduate students from across California to discuss displacement of peoples, cultures, objects, and ideas. The event will take place from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM on Wednesday, April 10th and Thursday, April 11th in the Santa Barbara Harbor Room of the University Center and will feature perspectives from the social and natural sciences, the humanities, and the arts.
