The AD&A Museum is pleased to present (It’s About Time), the MFA Thesis Exhibition showcasing the work of graduating artists Lucy Bell, Austin McCormick, Autumn Nicole, and Rose Schlossberg. Through varied mediums and perspectives, the exhibition reflects on how time shapes memory, identity, and imagination.
Dance Nation by Clare Barron follows a pre-teen competitive dance team as they prepare for nationals, with solos yet to be assigned. As competition builds, the dancers also navigate changing bodies and shifting team dynamics.
Sharon Gerstel, UCLA professor of Byzantine Art and Archaeology, will examine three key periods in Greek history — late Byzantium, the 19th century, and the 1930s — to explore the role of weavers and weaving within a broader cultural context.
Presented for the second time, the Spring Runway will feature 10 student-designed collections, 7 student stylists, 70 student models, and work from dozens of photographers and creatives.
Katherine Love, an artist, curator, and educator based in Honolulu since 1995, will discuss her career and artwork.
This premiere will showcase four student-produced films focused on eco-consciousness. GreenScreen is a collaborative, project-based program in environmental media production, where students work in teams to combine their production skills and environmental expertise through hands-on projects.
